1st NLIU NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON SECURITIES LAW AND CAPITAL MARKETS, 2026
We are delighted to share the successful culmination of the ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ก๐๐๐จ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐บ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, held on 4th and 5th April. As the flagship initiative of the Centre, the Symposium engaged with contemporary themes including the New Securities Code, InvITs and REITs, and evolving dynamics of the primary and secondary markets, marking a defining milestone in the Centreโs journey.
Conducted as a two-day academic engagement in knowledge partnership with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, the Symposium brought together promising scholarship and rigorous deliberation. Following a competitive selection process, 27 teams were shortlisted to present their research across three parallel panels.
Day 1 commenced with the Preliminary Rounds, where participants presented before an esteemed panel of experts:
